What are your hobbies and interests?
I enjoy hiking, swimming, and just hanging out with friends.

How long have you been involved with Branching Out?
This is my second year. I participated as a field team member in 2015.

Why did you choose to participate in Branching Out?
I really enjoyed working at the National Parks during my first year and wanted to learn more about them.

What are your career or educational goals?
I want to work with plants, more specifically invasive species and how they impact an ecological or historical site.

What are you looking forward to doing this summer during your internship?
I am looking forward to visiting many of the Boston Harbor islands and learning new skills and meeting new people.

What types of opportunities will Branching Out provide you with?
Branching Out will expose me to a potential career opportunity. I will also learn more about the history of the sites that I will be working at. The program will also help me refine techniques that I have learning during my first year.
