20 weeks, from April-September.

What are your hobbies and interests?
Rollerblading, tree care, and binge watching scary movies.

How long have you been involved with Branching Out?
This will be my second year with Branching Out. Last year I participated on the Boston field team.

Why did you choose to participate in Branching Out?
I participated last year and liked what I did and what opportunities the program could provide for me.

What are your career or educational goals?
I want to become a Massachusetts certified arborist, I want to get my pesticides license and continue working for a municipality or government.

What are you looking forward to doing this summer during your internship?
I’m definitely looking forward to exploring a new city and becoming a part of the John Muir NHS community.

What types of opportunities will Branching Out provide you with?
It will provide me with the opportunity to really fully explore my interests and what the arbor field has to offer.
