Where are you from?
I am from central Massachusetts in Lancaster, MA

What school do you attend?
I attend Minuteman High School majoring in Horticulture.

What are your hobbies and interests?
I enjoy going out on hikes and exploring forests in the New England area.  I also enjoy skiing and traveling to different amusement parks around the country.

How long have you been involved with Branching Out?
This is my first year involved with Branching Out and I am very excited for what I will learn here.  Also excited to meet all the people also involved in Branching Out.

Why did you choose to participate in Branching Out?
I choose to participate in Branching Out because I worked to further my knowledge in horticulture and to also explore many parks in the Boston area.  I also want to look at the many opportunities career wise for the National Park Service.

What are your career or educational goals?
After I graduate high school I plan on going to the University of Tampa for Management.  After I want to open my own farm hopefully in the Williamsburg, VA area.

What are you looking forward to during the Branching Out program this summer?
I am looking forward to the new knowledge I will receive through the Branching Out program.  I also am looking forward to all of the people I will meet who are working for the National Park Service and people who are also in the Branching Out program.

What types of opportunities will Branching Out provide you with?
Branching Out will provide the opportunity of furthering my knowledge in horticulture.  Also the program will provide me with the new things I haven’t learned yet.
