Halfway Point

I am a little over half way through the summer and I can tell you this… it’s getting real HOT! But I can take the heat and I’m enjoying myself. In the past weeks, I’ve worked with the tree crew to take down a few elm trees that suffered from dutch elm disease, pruned trees, and climbed trees.

When I’m not working in the field, I work on blog posts and keeping up with my school project. There are many more lots of more opportunities and different tasks coming my way for the next half of the summer. I’m really looking forward to the travel project at valley forge in Pennsylvania. I’m also looking forward to heading back to Stockbridge at the end of this summer.

I’m including some pictures of projects I’ve worked on this summer to help illustrate the cool work that’s happening on the National Mall!
