The Next Steps In My Steel Toed Boots

When this summer is over and I’ve finished my time here at Branching Out I will be starting as a freshman at the University of Massachusetts Amherst Stockbridge school to study Arboriculture and Forestry. I will not be returning to Branching Out next year. Instead I will be doing a 5 month internship at a commercial tree care company. I’ve enjoyed my time here at Branching Out being a field team member, school year ambassador, and park based intern. I had a lot of fun and I learned a lot working at Minute Man National Park with my mentor Trent and Scott, Sean, Scott, and Jake the other Maintenance workers. I can’t thank everyone enough for a great year and for all the wonderful experiences and opportunities I’ve experienced. Hopefully in the future I’ll be back to work for the National Park Service or OCLP. Good luck to everyone and thank you so so much! I’ll stay in contact and keep you all up to date!

    • And I’ll miss everyone so much! I will definitely keep in touch! Hopefully I can come back in two years to do a park based intern or possibly have Dan and Jamie mentor me.
