I have enjoyed my time working along side my mentor Trent at Minute Man Historical Park in Concord. Trent attended Western Washington University, worked in construction and then started in the National Park Service as a Branching Out field team supervisor. The first time I met Trent was up in a tree last year at a tree climbing workshop at Adams National Historical Park. Everyone that worked with him said he was an awesome guy and fun to work with. When Trent isn’t working he likes to go hiking, snowboarding and kayaking. Trent already helped me choose a summer project- you will hear more about that later but it involves a tree! The park spans three towns so there is always work to do. I miss being on the field team but I like working with the seasonal workers, Trent, Gerry and Scott.
